As a Camp Staffer, you will provide a blend of leadership, instruction, mentorship, and inspiration to campers while guiding them and sharing the joys and adventure of summer camp and program activities.
In addition, you will gain experience in curriculum facilitation, behavior management, effective communication, team building, risk management, child development, cooperative problem solving, and leadership.
Depending on your role at camp, you may earn certifications for archery, low ropes, or lifeguarding.
Already certified? Even better, you might qualify for additional pay! No Girl Scout experience, not a problem! We are excited to diversify our staff to ensure representation for our campers.
Our camp is located in northeast Indiana.

Logan was founded on Lake Dewart in Syracuse, Indiana in 1928.
Camp serves about 60 girls per week (and a barn full of horses), and days are filled with trails and traditions that empower campers through intentional activity design and cooperative leadership.
Join us for a summer of growth, memories, and a few silly songs.
This is seasonal summer employment (June 3 - July 29, 2024) which includes room and board.
Must be 18 years old by June 3rd.
Pay rate range:
$280 - $350 weekly, less taxes and other deductions.
Essential Duties:
Implement the national program portfolio, while focusing on a girl-led experiences for your unit.
Facilitate and assist with girl experience activities, which may include STEM, outdoor adventures course, and other arts and crafts.
Build relationships in the unit and help the unit to become an effective group where each member is respected and heard.
Identify group or individual problems and work with the girls to solve them.
Be aware of the ongoing medical needs of campers and act on them appropriately.
Know, follow, respect, and comply with the most current policies, procedures, and guidelines of GSNI-M, Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA), state camp laws, and American Camp Association (ACA) standards as applicable.
Instruct activities to help girls build their skill set and confidence.
Function as an effective member of the camp staff community.
Serve as a role model and guiding campers in appropriate behaviors, language, attitudes, and activities.
Participate in pre and post camp activities, including required pre-camp training.
Complete assigned paperwork promptly and accurately.
Complete end-of-session and end-of-season procedures and reports.
Other duties as assigned to ensure completion of goals and to uphold girls' safety standards as required/defined by GSNI- M.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
